    Hey

I just replaced my motherboard and everything seems to be working swimmingly except for when I plug in the status light cable connector into the motherboard. When it is plugged in the computer is turned off and won't turn on until it is unplugged (it will even turn on when I take the status light cable connector out even without pressing the power button again). Has anyone had this issue? Is this serious or is there anyway to fix it?

Let me know if you can help I would be greatly appreciative.

    Thank you.

It sounds like the cable or connectors are drawing too much energy or are shorting somewhere. I wouldn't imagine you could easily fix it youself. I'm hoping it won't cause too many inconveniences for you.

Thanks man I guess that makes sense. The weird part was yesterday night I accidentally pushed the connector in my pushing hard on the keyboard (because I left the connector above its position for some reason). When I removed the status light cable connector it didn't start up like normal but acted like it was on standby mode and went to the basic log in screen and when I logged in all my tasks were the same (just like standby mode). Would that mean anything else?
