I figure i go boot the good old m11x r2 i7 up. And i wanted to try my extra ssd i had which already had windows 8 on it, So i went to setup thottlestop, And it seems to work , But shouldn't i be seeing the full mhzs at load with thottlestop?

I cant seem to remember... Like when at load now it reads around 2.2ghz Than when i turn off thottlestop it reads 1.9 to 2ghzs.

My fsb is overclocked to 160mhzs.

I also pop the old windows 7 hdd in and it does the same. So maybe this is normal? I just always thought it did the full mhzs at load at 2.7ghzs. Like idling it will show in cpuz 2.5 to 2.7. But asoon as i put load on it it will go down to 2.2ghzs. Pretty much it stays on 14muti always on load, But if idle or doing non load stuff it will go up to 17muti which is full boost.

Maybe its just been so long and all of this is working the way it should be, But i just wanted to make sure lol

    Thanks :)

It seems like Windows 8 does not support throttlestop, at lest in my testing it has little to no effect. :/
