Black Ops is famous for running like a 50 year old diesel engine.

Try this: right click on the game's icon on your desktop:

'run with graphics processor' -----> 'High performance nVidia processor'

Try putting the dll file on the exact install directory.

    You are very welcome! :)

Like abcxyz91 said, you should put that particular dll in the right folder/directory...

Call of duty:Black Ops has always ran perfect on my laptop in my sig, besides a few quirks it had before it was patched with it freezing, they were fixed though. You do have a ULV processor afterall, when there are lots of people on screen in multiplayer it uses netcodeing which is powered by your processor. I would download gamebooster, as well as play with the ingame settings and get the single player working to your likeing then move to the multiplayer portion.

it may be a ULV processor, but its a fast cpu. even my core 2 duo plays black ops fine.

hell, even a pentium 4 can. (youtube that) :D

Set the base clock speed as high as possible in the bios and then run some tests like Prime95 and make sure your CPU is stable. If it is not stable then lower the amount of overclock in the bios and try again.
