Locks up how? We need a little more information here. Does it bluescreen? Freeze and require a hard restart? Freeze and have to be closed with Task manager? Freeze for a few seconds and come back?

There are a lot of meanings to the word freeze, a little more information and we may be able to help you.

If it freezes requiring a hard restart. Depends on a multiple things:

    1) Is it frequent or once every couple of days? If its once every couple of days and you play frequently then it is a wow problem. I have it occur too. My old GPU was faulty and it happened with every game I played with the nvidia card. It would also happen a lot more (maybe once every hour or so). So... to rephrase does it only happen with WoW? Because I lock up every now and then (maybe once a week after having played about 30 hours that week) but it only happens on WoW. None of my other 40 games lock up.
    2) Are you overclocking? If you are run then at stock.

What brand SSD are you running? If intel run the Intel SSD Tool Box to check for errors. The SSD can cause the BSOD, you say only in WoW which use's the CPU. How about any GPU intense games? I had a problem where the HD was bad and the CPU was not getting the info it needed causing the same that you seen to have. Try swaping the drive out.

Sorry I see the Intel in your sig. Still try the Tool Box.

i will try swapping the drive but the ssd is brand new basically, ssd toolbox says its all good, also never tried any other games. this is just frustrating dell literally replaced everything, cpu, gpu, everything I just don't get it. I just no one thing this is the last aw/dell I will ever buy.

the only aftermarket stuff is my intel wifi card and intel ssd

Try LAN with wireless off. I've had to replace my WiFi card twice due to freeze ups. m11x burns them out, and the dell stock 1520s are crap.

I have an r3 and I havn't even put in an ssd yet with the same problems. Just a full screen freeze usually while idle/browsing/light loads. No bsod.

If it only happens during wow its the game and the gpu/optimus combo. Its a known issue if you search all over this forum.
