Hi guys, I have an alienware m11x r3 (i5 version) with 4GB ram. I am trying to upgrade, but I'm not sure if there are two 2GB memory sticks, or just one 4GB stick in my system. Is there any way I can determine this? Also, how do I know which ram is compatible with my m11x? I was thinking about buying this one:
Buy the Crucial 4096MB PC10600 DDR3 SODIMM Laptop RAM at TigerDirect.ca
Would this work with my system?

you could try cpu z. on the SPD tab, under memory slot selection there is a drop down box for slots. if you only have slot #1 listed then you only have 1 stick. or open the m11x and see, i dont think its that hard to get to the ram. but ive never done it, still waiting on my m11x in the mail.
CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
here is the list of crucial memory that will work:

Pop open the back cover and it's right there, there are only 2 slots and if you purchased 4GB from Dell then they would have given you 2x2GB.
