So I was getting impatient with dell and bought a sony vaio from bb with a 310/i3 and it runs what I play(wow) great but the battery life is roughly 3 hours. I called dell to cancel my order that was in production and they said I have to wait for it to ship then reutn it....but at the same time I got offered a 100$ discount, I didn't do anything at the time but I want to keep it now and I want the discount..so I called and the guy I got said I have to wait for it to arrive then call back for a refund, has anybody done something like this? And should I take the guys word on calling dell after it arrives? Thanks.
Another thing, and advice on if I should call them acting like I want to cancel and see if they throw the discount at me? Or call and mention the discount that was offered previously? thanks.

Up to you, but I would call the guy back and as for it sent to you in an e-mail. That way you have something to present when you call back, if he says no as him to email you return labels so you can get it returned asap. He'll either send the labels or the discount email.
