    Hey

I need to know if the shipping box of m11x-r2 look exactly the same in this picture ?

I mean the box that have the box which contain the laptop in it is no bigger that picture ?

and does it come with another bigger box ?

I am asking because i want to buy one from dell and its will ship internationally so i don't want to be charged for dimensional weight

and is there any paper that may indicate the real value of the laptop "invoice etc.."

    Thanks :)

my M11x shipped exactly like that. i believe the packing slip was on the outside, but it was beneath clear plastic wrap.

    Thank you for answering :)

Was there any paper that may indicate the real value of the laptop "invoice etc.." in that slip ?

    Thanks again :)

i believe it shows what i paid, but i don't remember off the top of my head. i don't think there was an invoice anywhere else (there was nothing on the alienware box itself), so i assume it was in the packing slip.

i can check when i get home in a couple hours.

Yes that is the exact box they all seem to come in as did mine. As far as the invoice yes it comes with it and it is found on the outside of the box. It has all the information about your order that you should need

    guys am really confused :(
I called dell sales and they told me they wont include any invoices
but i chatted with 4 reps 2 of them said there is an invoice included and there is no way to not include it
and the other two said its will be sent to my billing address and include nothing with the laptop

The box with the flaps open is the actual shipping box, the inside box (The one that says "ALIENWARE") is the product box. It will show up just like you see pictured, closed obviously

My M11x R2 shipping box looks EXACTLY like what you had shown in the picture. And I mean EXACTLY. Probably because I took that picture :D.

In any case, my shipping box:

    1) Was exactly the same as what you see in that picture. There was no larger outer-shipping-container.

    2) Has a packing list on the outside of the box. That packing list shows the contents of the box, but not the value.

    3) Is a relatively plan black box, but makes it clear that there is a computer inside. There are stickers that say "Computer made in China" and "Intel" and "Dell".

Now, of course, I can only speak based on my experience as someone who got an Alienware M11x shipped within the United States. If you are getting yours shipped internationally, you might have extra stickers / forms on the outside of your box from customs, that indicate the contents and value.

I wouldn't worry too much about someone trying to steal your laptop. The companies that handle package shipping deal with thousands of packages each day, many of which contain items that are worth quite a bit. Nobody is stupid enough to lose their job over stealing a $1000 laptop. And even if they do steal it, the delivery service used by Dell should have delivery confirmation, which would show that your laptop got "lost" somewhere along the way. Dell would simply claim the insurance on the package to cover their loss, and send you another laptop.

If you reply to this thread by 6 30 pm tonight I will get out my box and take a few pictures and post them here because it sounds like you just need to see the whole box. Otherwise I am going to take it that you found what you needed.
