Did you get your brand new M11x r3 only to find the keyboard is all jacked up towards the left side? Flip it over, remove the panel, remove the battery and take out the two screws underneath along the centerline of the battery compartment. Problem solved. :)

Those 2 little screws do nothing but mess up the eveness of your keyboard. The screws holding the keyboard in place are the ones under the plastic panel that holds the power button.

I hear putting a spacer under the keyboard helps too. Dunno if I would want to completely remove the screws.

I added more info to my post. Those screws do nothing. No worries whatsoever and less complicated than removing your keyboard to add a spacer that wont completely fix the problem, only hides it somewhat

I highly doubt they add "useless" screws.

my keyboard was higher at the left, did make the keyboard touch the screen if closed.

If i remove the screws under the battery i get the whole keyboard leveled out but it touches completely now the screen, so i go to dismantle the whole systems to look if the screws are under the cpu, bcs there is the problem.

so i just dismantled the whole NB and did find out that the person whoever build my NB folded the keyboard-cable under the left side what did push the keyboard at the left so high, that it did start touching the screen if closed, after fixing, it got a lot better, its now almost leveled out even with the screws in you told us to remove :).

I recommend everyone to dismantle there keyboard if yours is touching the screen if closed and have a look. There is also a fat black cable that is very thick and pushing the keyboard up take the plastic fin thats over it and bend it the other way so it get flatter.

Not for me... alternatively to removing them completely you could loosen them to fine tune the height. I had them removed and I can lay a straight edge right across my keyboard. the whole thing is level from edge to edge
