    m11xR2 users with low CPU OC it might be the RAM

    M11XR2 users that increase their FSB also OC the RAM as evident on CPU-Z (no pics sorry) so people with really low CPU OC stability it might be the ram! don't quote me on that but its worth a shot if you have spare RAM sticks lying around.

    IIRC, the i7 UM models run their IMC at 800MHz. Since all m11x (that I know of) come with 1066Mhz ram to begin with, shouldn't there be at least some leeway?

    @Tass - I agree. For those with OC issues I would open the machine up, pull both sticks of ram, switch ram slots (flip flop the memory) and see if this helps. Then you may want to purchase some higher quality (1333 or higher) memory to see if it gets you a few more mhz. I have heard of others that updated the mem and got faster clocks.

    If your really adventurous you can replace the TIM (thermal Paste)... There is a great thread somewhere on how to do it. This could also help clocks.
