I would bring my m11x to class and when class is over I put it to sleep and place it in my backpack. At least 50%, I would pull out a loud, hot piece of m11x out of my backpack. I don't know why it turned on even though I clearly put it to sleep and made sure it was sleeping. Anyone know of this problem?

Also, sometimes my m11x doesn't switch to the intel gpu quite well. I would get a black screen and I would have to restart the computer for it to be able to switch properly.

on my m11xR2 the nvidia driver affected my sleep function sometimes. like one version would disable the sleep option and another wouldnt.

this has happened to me once. make sure that when you are putting your computer to sleep, you wait until it fully goes to sleep before closing the lid. wait until the screen goes completely black and the lighting around the power button begins to do the slow on//off cycle before you close the lid.

if you close your lid while the computer is trying to go to sleep but hasn't fully gone to sleep, it can cause issues (at least for me).

Go into you power settings an change what happens when you close the lid. Set it so that it sleeps when you close the lid . Problem solved .
