    Um guys i just joined this, and im not that good with computers... I have recently downloaded the new driver from Nvidia.

    Well im having problems with my source game (CSS, TF2, L4D), anyways i cant set my shadows to "high" i've read alot of other forums but they dont relate to this one... The problem is the worst with CSS, it's set at Directx8 after i downloaded the driver.

    Any ideas why? i have an alienware M11x R2 all standard stuff

    i'm having overheating issues ever since i downloaded this driver. my laptop gets so hot that it just shuts off mid-game.

    I had the same issues. Its a mother board issue. Call Dell to get it replaced. You GPU is faulty.

    Yep, I can't get my CSS to use the 335 either.. I don't even know how to white list it, but before I didn't have to and it would already work.. Too bad these drivers were perfect before I noticed this..

    Anyone here play Battlefield: Bad Company 2? If so, do they lag bad? I get like 10-25 fps ingame. I had some modded drivers I found on here, and when I went to Can you run it? It said I didn't have hardware T&L. I upgraded to 270.61 from Nvidia and now I have hardware T&L,but now the shaders don't meet the recommended requirement,

    So what's the consensus, should I stick with 266.44 or move on to 270.61?

    These drivers are good, but the problems I have is overheating(not really overheating but it gets significantly hotter from previous . Even when I have my rig elevated and a fan.

    How come i can play napoleon total war with the drivers from nvidia and i can't play with the 270 or the previously one?

    Do i have to instal this driver in some other way or something?

    Can someone playing GTA San Andreas confirm that it works with htis driver, any fixes? I used to have a living hell with other drivers until I disabled windows event logger and underclocking my shaderclock with EVGA.
