I am removing my hdd and putting in a ssd, how do I do this, and when I put the ssd in what do I do next since there will be nothing on it. I think I would put in the alienware disk and install what ever is on that, but then do I need aw drivers, how would I get those or are they on the disk. Second will I have to re oc my cpu, or just re setup throttle stop. Thank u

With your AlienSpawn do the backup to a 8GB USB stick and restore from the stick after you install the ssd...I think that should work.

probably best to do it as a clean install. convert your OS DVD into a USB stick first.

Or just wander down to a store and pick up a USB DVD drive - they're pretty cheap now,
