Does the device show up in the device manager? And if it does, is it showing up as enabled and working?

Start > Right click on Computer > Properties > Device Manager > Network adapters

i would say try reloading the driver is your best bet first. Could just be bugged out.

Go to Dell.com and download your Dell Wifi drivers, and then install them, restart your computer when completely done.

You don't need to uninstall the old ones.

Some routers have the ability to delete a known device. If yours does then you might give that a shot and try connecting again.
