    need help with hdderase

    hi. i've been trying to use hdderase to clean out my x25m but after all the y/n questions it leads me to a blank screen that only shows a blinking cursor and the top info which says "Secure Erase Freeware..." etc.

    i've tried switching to both ahci and ata in bios as there is no option for ide legacy that i am aware of.

    any info will be greatly appreciated. thanks

    As far as I have been able to determine, HDD Erase won't work in the m11x. Might need to use another PC to do the erase one.

    thanks for the quick response. looks like i'll be doing it on my other comp, which isn't a big deal... just that switching the hard drives back and forth is a pain :/
