I had a new motherboard and new ram replaced recently to stop my freezing problem yet again last night it froze :(

Could this be due to overheating as the fan was kicking in alot !

Don't know where to go from here

Could be fan (temp) related. Are you monitoring temps? Good time to start.

I got the same problem but it's definitely not my temps, my gpu has never hit 70 degrees

not sure about CPU but GPU shouldn't go above 80, if it does, thats a problem. My R1 has hit 70 only once when it was 90 degrees out, but if you have and r2 or r3 then those run a bit hotter

Freezing is tough. I still have them on occasion (a few per week) even though temps are normal and:
    BIOS has been updated
Vid drivers changed, both current and official
Not using intel6200 nic anymore (or any wireless)
    CPU o/c and not o/c
    internals cleaned
    excess processes stopped for testing

I also have occasional GPU driver crash&recover. Not sure if related.

since late yesterday and all today I have had no freeze. Just did a bunch of windows updates so hopefully something in there helped. Time will tell.

I think some systems are just more prone to this issue. Crazy theories:
Power supply, both internal and ext.
Tempted to try GPU volt mod but unsure about power brick
Temp on GPU normal but if finicky or unstable possible temp threshold lower?

    Bleh.
