For some reason everyone always wants new drivers...but to be honest, the ones I have currently (from the dell site) are working just fine...What else is there to add? All the games I currently run, run to perfection...If its not broke dont fix it IMO.

If you search the forums there are a few methods to update the drivers. You just have to mod the INF and merge the dell driver with the new NVIDIA driver. If you simply don't want to do that then just set your Bios to discrete Graphic Only.

Now for the nay sayers on I am running graphics drivers 258.96 and they totally out perform the drivers that are on the dell site. In Star Trek Online I was able to turn back on AA, Texture filters, shadows, and bloom. Even after doing that I am getting a extra 5 to 10 fps depending on space vs ground. That gives me a average FPS for about 35 fps... mid 20s at Sol.

Hmmm. Thats interesting bittercold. I will have a look how the nvidia drivers run on my games, but my 3dmark06 score went down from 6490 to 6330 when I switched from the dell switchable graphics to the vanilla nvidia drivers on their website.

I know there are limitations when it comes to generic benchmark programs; will test it with games when I have time.

Just something interesting I had to add...and strange... :/

STO is really the only game that I play a lot and seriously I saw a performance gain. Maybe it is just that game idk, but I am able to make the game "Prettier" now without a lose of performance. To note I also overclock my GPU which if you want I can give the numbers.

Yes guys. It appears my windows rating went up, 3dmark06 went down but my starcraft 2 performance went up. I am only going to need the 6hour battery life at specific times, so will probably just switch back to the old drivers when I need them again.

If any use to someone. :)

@bittercold: what overclocking program do you use? and how/what do you overclock? is it a significant performance gain? I read on forums that the 335m gt has got a good room for improvement in the overclocking department. Was just curious if its worth it. :)
