just download and install cpu-z program. it will give you all info about lappy. choose SPD (in opened window) and you will see memory type PC-xxxx. this memory you will need. Also there are meny slots in SPD. It will show you what sticks of memory are inside. How much Ram do you have? 4GB?

Id stay away from kingston ssd, they lack in the iops area . Id get a sandforce driven one like vertex2/agility2 or an intel one for better performance.

+1. Agree with you on this one. For people who want performance, go with drives based on the SandForce controller or the Intel controller.

    Translation:
The best drives (performance and price) to buy are one of the following:
    - OCZ Vertex 2 (60GB of 120GB)
    - OCZ Agility 2 (60GB or 120GB)
    - Intel X25-M (80GB, 120GB, or 160GB)
