Hi I just bought Bioshock Infinite recently but it doesnt let me play because it says that my graphics hardware is not compatible with DirectX10 or 11. Im confused about this because my graphics card clearly says that it supports DX10.1 / SM4.1 and that my windows 7 has DirectX11 installed according to dxdiag. What should I do to be able to play this game? It did run on the integrated card by the way

It should work on the GT335M as it is DX10 compatible, plus I also completed BI on my R1 a couple of weeks ago - try playing other DX10 games to see if the game's at fault, or you could try updating your drivers.

My driver version is 306.97. Is it worth a shot to update it cause sometimes the newer version sucks more

That's true - I use the original 2010 driver and it works great! I'd try another DX10 game first as changing your drivers could have dire consequences.

I updated the driver but I still get the same error. Dont I need to make some configurations to make this work? like maybe change setting from dx9 to dx 10

Im pretty sure that the dell's driver only has about 280.0 version or below so my laptop wont run other games if I installed it

I see, how about a clean OSRI? Then use the same drivers you were trying

You can still try that driver, even though the version is lower it is different than nVidia's.
