    Hey guys,
with the 270.xx drivers, I always keep getting those nvlddmkm.sys BSOD errors. It happens randomly. My temps are great, no OC, happens in every game!
How can I fix this error?
    Thanks!

Download a pre270 driver and see if you crash.
If you still do then you GPU is faulty.
If you dont then its just the driver.

It doesn't crash, but most of my games run better on the 270. xx drivers :S So my video card is fine, it's just the drivers.
A fix would be greatly appreciated

So far there have been a number of threads on this issue. None have a fix. Its the driver. only fix right now is to revert back.

Can you run this program I have in the first post?
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...erboard-revisions-related-crashing-issue.html

And let me know what GPU revision you have. Also you might need to wait a bit for a crash. I no longer got BSOD with stock drivers, but the main issue remained. Program Crash - Ctrl Alt Del - Cant stop Process - Machine wont shutdown.

If you had issues like that than its likely the GPU if not then as said DeeVu with drivers.

I was getting a lot of those errors. I saw this solution where in you over clock your GPU. I tried it and I haven't been getting BSOD's for a couple of days now. though I did also do other things like clean install of the drivers in safe mode, turning of UAC and updating my anti-virus. lol. But yeah it's worth giving it a shot.

overclock? or underclock? I've heard underclocking worked (worked on my old GPU before I got it replaced) but never heard of overclocking. Just confirming.

Overclocking. :p though yeah I have heard of underclocking it. I have yet to try. But yeah so far no BSOD's for me. Before, I used to get it like every few minutes while playing the witcher. (Just in the swamp area, all the other areas are BSOD free)

Underclocking my GPU was the only way I could avoid the BSOD while gaming after installing the 270 drivers.

I have a technician coming tomorrow to replace the master I/O board so we'll see with a new GPU if that helps.

I hope it helps you. Didn't help me. Im perfectly find with the 260 drivers though. So its definitely a driver issue.

Fixed it by formatting my PC! Guess it was just a driver issue. Now the 270. xx drivers work wonderfully!
    Thanks everyone!
