Anyone else having this problem? When I resume from standby, nvvsvc.exe uses up 50% CPU (i.e. 100% cpu on one core). This lasts for a minute or two, then goes to normal.

I have it too. I have an Asus UL30Vt-A1. For the first few hibernate-resume cycles, it works fine. Then it'll start doing this and keep doing it every time I come out of hibernate until I do an actual reboot. It's really annoying.

I have this problem aswell with my Asus UL30VT-QX008V! It's at 50% cpu load for about 5 minutes now!! Seems like the more times you hibernate the longer it takes??

I found this old thread and just wanted to say that this problem went away, probably some windows update fix, so if you are experiencing this still try windows update!
