    Hi everyone...
I was wondering if anyone knew what I can do in this situation.

First off, alienrespawn sucks. It gives me an error on my r1 when I start it, and on my brand new r3, it crashes immediately! So anyone know how to actually make alienrespawn work?

I don't know what to do. I'm pretty sure my r1 didn't come with any CDs, certainly not a windows cd (my r3 did). How the heck do I reset the r1 to factory? I'm supposed to be selling it tonight :(

Thanks if anyone has anything that can help. Id hate to delay the buyer because I can't wipe the machine :p

Try your r3's CD in it. It should work! As for drivers, I don't know.

Hrm... I might have to resort to that. Can I use the key from the r1 instead of the r3?

Ugh.. and of course, alienrespawn from dells website doesn't work. I do the little checker, it says I can proceed to step 2, then it says file not found. Anyone know where I can download alien respawn? This really is quite ridiculous, I should just be able to boot into recovery and press a freakin button to restore to defaults :(

Forget it.... thankfully the craigslist guy that bought it didn't care and said to just format the drive, so forget needing to restore! So stupid though. AlienSpawn totally sucks :)

To answer your question even though it doesn't matter, you can use your R's code on your R3 and vice-versa, as long as they're both running the same version of Windows 7.
