i read through the new owner sticky and didnt see any info

what im wanting to know is how do i know if my graphics card is running?
the fan in the system sounds the same all the time except when i first turn it on, its dead silent
as soon as im in windows the sound dosent change

i loaded up counter strike source and did the video stress test and averaged 38 fps

im not overclocked or anything, is that with the graphics card or on board?
i expected higher numbers, my old desktop with half the specs of this machine pumped out like 100fps

well keep in mind this laptop is a ULV

my Lenovo with a T5250 and a 9300M geforce runs games 2x better than the M11x

That seems pretty low to me, I get at least about 80 with my CPU overclocked and turbo on if I remember correctly

What are your settings? Without them we can't compare performance.
