    hi guys, so this is about my 3rd major problem with my little beast. The other night i was downloading AC:Brotherhood. It would take about 7 hours (hotel internet) and i left it running when i went to bed and when i woke up the notebook was off. Does the m11x r1 shut itself down if it is left alone for a certain amount of time?

    Check Power Options in Control Panel.

    There will be a power profile selected of those, click "Change plan settings" and under that there is an option for "Put the computer to sleep" after a certain amount of time.
