so I was getting my motherboard replaced and the dell tech took of the lcd and and let it slide of the table onto tile floor and cracked it, my reaction was a little not friendly considering I just looked at him and told him to get out my house and I then called dell and I will be getting a new one tommrow. However who are these people I mean seriously this dude was just a big , I should have known when he tripped on the way in. But at least dell is gonna fix it or hopefully. What sucks is it was a nice lcd :( however new motherboard is so sexy. Also he said he worked on them before yet he was like this is a r2 right, and I said yep he said that sucks no core i5 or i7 I said HUH?

I don't think the LCD needs to be taken off when replacing the motherboard. Does it ?

LMAO!! Dude you should video record that next time a tech come to visit. That just hilarious and just picturing the tech guy dropped your lcd screen and seeing your shock, unfriendly face towards the guy. I think the end he was threatening you. I will be video cam them when they pay a visit. Well poor guy probably lost his job for that because they are suppose to be professional tech. Oh well i hope you get a new system. =)

I wouldn't have been rude to him about it accidents happen. How do you think he felt that he did something like that? He probably felt really bad and didn't even know what to say.

    I'm with you.

    Accidents do happen.

Besides how often do we here how 'terrible' Dell is in servicing their product? Instead of arguing with the customer and saying he has to take up the issue
with the reps company that screwed up the unit; they're giving new replacement.

The inconvienance certainly sucks, but Dell is coming through and doing what they can to make it right.

    JMHO

I would of never kicked him out because in the back of my mind, I would clue in immediately that due to his error, I'd get a brand new system.

If anything, you should of thanked him lol.

Agreed, you get a new LCD for free and it will be perfectly clean. So you should thank him. I also don't really like Dell technicians. Sue dell!
