Just want to know if anyone has found a way to modify the active touch area on the touchpad? resting my palm even on the frame around the pad activates it. Played around with sensitivity for awhile but I cant find a middle ground.

It would be great if i could just make the active area narrower...

There's a setting in Command Center's AlienTouch that allows you to disable the sensitivity of the track pad when your palms touch it.

I am using the synaptics driver from Dell download page plus Scrybe. You can customize it in pretty much any way.
Try it out its really good.

I had the problem too. But I installed the latest Synaptics driver. It fixed EVERYTHING.

im using the latest synaptics driver, minus scrybe (had it; i dont need the function at all) Im a little lost... I havent seen a setting in either drivers that would make the trackpad active area smaller...
palmcheck seems pointless as its not even my palm thats touching the pad, its the frame pressing down on the pad edge.

    thanks
