i don't know if this has been covered in the forums, so my apologies if it has.
there are tons of videos of broken MacBook hinges on youtube, and at least 200,000 hits when you search google. the difference between that and our M11x is that at least Dell is getting to the bottom of the problem and fixing them under warranty, whereas Apple is refusing to fix under warranty since it is "accidental" damage, according to them.
i don't know about you, but after reading about Apple, i am quite happy that Dell has worked to revise the hinge!
thoughts?

oh, i read a little more and saw that Apple acknowledged the problem when enough customers reported it, and they revised the hinge and yadda yadda yadda.

This has nothing to do with Alienware. If you want to ask about Apple, NBR has a forum for that:

we all know about our hinge problem; what about MacBooks though??
