im going to return my m11x r2 and the date has been set for next week. i opened the botton of the laptop to try my own ram of 8gb and you can clearly see the marks on the screws where i have opened it. i dont know the process that goes into the rerturn after they've taken it off me an accessed whether its suitable for return but has anyone been rejected a return for some reason. and btw i wouldent mind it if they sent it back because i dont mind keeping it, im just looking for a bigger screen size is all.

    zed.

Memory and HDD are both user replaceable components. As such the opening of the bottom access panel is not something that they can decline a return for, screws showing signs of being used or not. You should be fine.

They are probably going to charge you a 15% restocking fee because of the return policy
