    wireless adapter not showing up, please help (r1 model)

    I had to do a factory w/ the disc alienware gave me and after I did that, I can't connect to the internet via my wireless router. I've downloaded the wireless drivers from the dell website but the wireless adapter doesn't show up in the internet options. please help

    You probably downloaded the wrong drivers as there are four to choose from, or the wifi card is disabled for some reason, hit FN+F3.

    If you didn't upgrade to one of the the Intel cards, chances are you have the Broadcom chipset (WLAN 1520), the drivers are here, ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/network/R252544.exe
