Right, had a bit of a disappointment this morning.

Got the 16gb memory kit, and it doesn't boot into Windows - Sadly, at work (using it for work) I can't try a fresh install. SSD should be here soon, though, so I think I'll wait for that to arrive if that's the solution.

Any thoughts? I've got the latest, locked, BIOS if that makes any difference.

Try starting with just one 8gb stick in.

Just given that a whirl, I get a BSOD - System Exit Owned Mutex.

Hopefully the SSD&Hybrid should be here in a few days though, so I can try a fresh install and see if that remedies it, since it passes the BIOS self tests (Despite reading no installed RAM, as said by everyone else in this and other threads), I'm reasonably hopeful that it will.

You need an i7 CPU in order to use the 8gb sticks. I had an i3 and I could not use my 8gb sticks until my 920xm came in the mail.

I booted with an Ubuntu live USB stick last night, that recognised the full 16gb - I'll see what happens when I get the SSD's with Win7.
