Hi, i'm serching for cooling pad for my M15x.
Summer... Average temps inside the house is 30-37C, and my 5850M 1.15V 870/1200 became overhating ...
I'm locking for CoolerMaster NotePal U3 and Zalman ZM-NC11. Did somebady use this pads?
Maby anotherone coling pad will be better?
Wich colling pads do u use with your M15x laptops?

I used the zalman one but I had to let it go (too big to carry around). It was the nc-3000. I did the job pretty good but the only issue was that the usb power socket is not durable and had lots of loose contact. I sent it back for a replacement but the issue still remained. I ended up using the dc adapter. As for the nc 11 it's quite big and unless looks are important I'd say go for the nc-3000 as it's cheaper and does the job just as good. Don't expect to carry it around as it's big heavy and I had to leave it while moving.

The best cooling pad of all is none.
Get the 9 cell battery and then some notebook feet such as these
Notebook Laptop Heat Reduction Pad Cooling Cool Feet I | eBay
The 9 cell battery alone will raise the laptop at the back by a good inch. The Feet mounted on the battery will raise the laptop a further inch and at the front half an inch.
I also recommend taking the back panel off and stripping out the mesh that cover the intake vents for the fans. This helps the fans suck in more air.
I have done the above and even in ambient temps of nearly 30C my M15x runs nice and cool.
