Thanks very much for this, just what I need, saved me a lot of time! +Rep

Awesome job bud! Does the unlocked A09 have any advantages over normal A09 bios?
+rep!! -
Theres some advanced settings unlocked you can see here: Alienware M15x - Page 3
Works fine here - Credit goes to Ahmed Hossam, moderator at Bios-mods.com  -
So no real benefit with the unlocked one
-
Depends...
You should be able to control the integrated graphics of a dual-core. Though somehow in my case it doesnt make that big a difference.

+1Rep for this man!

I'm glad you all like it. Please feel free to inform of any changes or additions you would like. Btw, I forgot to mention that the touchpad driver supports two-finger scrolling, which I really like :hi2:

This should be stickied and kept current. Thank you for this thread!

Anyone else having any problems with the gestures? I cant seem to get them to work properly, they say they are enabled but dont work. Sometimes they are disabled and I look in the control panel and they are re enabled some how but still dont work. Any ideas?
-
The ones i used were the synaptics hp drivers i believe for the gestures. To get them to work I had to actually enable the 2finger gestures in settings for the program. Even still it wasn't really that good on the M15x so i uninstalled them and reverted back to the default M15x/windows driver.
-
I think the 2finger scroll is awesome on the M15x
-
Does anyone still use this?
-
Sorry to be a pain in the but i cant seem to down load those precious drivers ... The link starts then gets to about 60mb then seems to finish .. when i click on the file it asks me where i would like to extract to but then tells me there is nothing to extract ..?? what am i doing wrong .. ?
-
I dont know what happened to your download. Just tried myself and it all came within 3 mins
-
Yup and thank you very much for it!
-
Have you checked the extraction location? I'm guessing if it's a compressed file with all the drivers it just extracts the drivers and leaves them at the destionation folder, you would have to install them afterwards one by one in the correct order.

Updated with first confirmed working ITE 8708 driver for Windows 8.1 x64

Truth be told, I had never even heard of Alienware Autopsy until now. Did it come with the M15x out of the box?

fatboyslimerr Alienware M15x Fanatic
No I don't think so but I use it all the time after discovering it. The BSOD diagnostic is excellent. -
I really wish i saw this earlier as i used the resource disk to installed AlienFX when i did a clean format, which bricked all my lights....
so new motherboard time i guess.
Will download this and ditch the resource disk...many thanks and a job well done....
