    m15x resource/windows DVD problem

    My problem is my disc will not read for either DVD but I can read any other disc.

    I bought a removable drive and it had the same issue.

    I dont have a warranty.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    if its for drivers you can get them @ support.dell.com
    can't say i have ever had this problem

    The DvD is clearly faulty. Throw it away, download a new one, and be happy.

    +1, I also had to recently do the same on my m11x, my old portable cd drive did not read the disc, but the cd drive I bought did (the disc was bad).

    If I was to install the drivers on a non-alienware version of windows it would run fine?
