Well...i dun know wth dell tech did to my card, mem temp raises to 96C when its on 100% gpu loading...
which i never saw it higher than 80C be4 he came
so i think imma do sth myself
I bought those liquid metalpad from coolaboratory
but just wondering how to place it on the ram of the graphic card?
shud i just place on it directly?or just place it above the thermal pad ?
    thx
    EDITED------
now i've resized the pad to cover the edge of the gpu
    is better than be4
but the memio is still 30c over dispio
    clock speed are 800/1000
when the gpu usage are on 50%
the memio will be on 85-90c
    is this too hot?
fan speed is set on 100% with hwinfo32

Sounds like the thermal paste wasn't applied correctly, needs to be redone. As stated before, the MEMIO temp is on the die not on the memory.

be VERY careful with liquidpro products. they're conductive and you run the real risk of destroying your hardware with a short. not to mention that they're a pita (sometimes impossible) to remove without damage.

Now i've placed few more pieces on it, the memio dropped to around 76-82C
while the dispio is only around 58-60 ,is that normal?or i still doing the wrong thing?

@xero ya i heard of that, but ppl say they fixed it from their 2nd gen product, and the pad is 2nd gen so i hope its doing fine :(

    lol sure hope so.
wouldn't want the die to be stuck to the heatsink after trying to remove it.

i take it those are load temps right?
    during furmark or 3d gaming.

This is not really surprising. Some thermal pastes (Arctic Silver, for one) are known to "cure" and get better over time - some seem to reqauire quite a bit of time, more than you experienced.

i see...cause from the reviews wrote by other gamers, they said coolab's stuff don't need to cure up....so i guess its not true or metal pad is different from compounds........this thing is working great now,not over 65C
