Hi, I don't know if this have been already posted but after a reinstall of windows (without the original disk of alienware because I wanted windows ultimate) I wanted to have the alienware logo and name in my windows info like that:

    http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/1221/alienwareinfo.png

So you have to download this file:
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
extract it, put the OEM folder in %WINDIR%\sysWOW64\ and then open the alienware.reg file. After that, right click on computer and click properties to see if it worked.
I hope this will be helpful for some of you.

This can be done manually too:

Open regedit (orb button and type regedit)

    Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \Windows \ CurrentVersion \ OEMInformation
(In case the OEMinformation is missing just create it)

Here you'll have to create the following string values (REG_SZ)

Logo : here you'll have to provide the path to the logo you want as Data, it must be a .BMP image of 120x120 pixels if not it will automatically get scaled to 120x120. (i.e. D:\alienware\logo.BMP)

Manufacturer : put desired manufacturer name ( Dell Alienware...)

    Model : system model ( i.e. Alienware M11x / M14x / M15x / M17x / M17x R2 etc...)

    SupportHours : support hours (i.e. 09:00 - 18:00)

SupportPhone : support phone number (i.e.1-800-ALIENWARE)

SupportURL : OEM support URL (i.e. www. alienware. com)

after all this you can simply exit registry editor.

    Enjoy
