Warning: Contains scenes which some may find offensive. Parental guidance recommended.

Saving your hard earned money to buy the new Alienware laptop?
Check out this leaked video on what could be your laptop in the final stages of production in China.

Since AW laptops are not top tier build quality, I must say I am not pleased to see them go through this punishment. I bet all the reliability problems have something to do with this.

this is true for most electronic products that are made in china. phones, tablet, tvs, you would see the same conditions.

    Parental guidance? You're joking, yes?

So the laptops get tossed around a bit. They've got two inch foam support all over the place, and they're being handled by people that do that same task thousands of times a day. What did you expect?

Also, your post in the other thread trying to prop this one up? Childish behaviour.

Looks like they all get along in the factory line. Everyone smiling and talking. :)

Does look like they could handle the notebooks a bit better though. Especially when putting it in the black foamy thingy. But I didn`t see much rough treatment there to be honest.

Yeah there is at 0:45 when he realize the foam is wrong size and tosses/drops the unprotected AW on the table.

Not trying to stir anything. Just laying the facts on the table. Afraid to look at the truth?

Also if you read properly my signature is "Switched to AW from Clevo. I favor no one but the one that is truly good.

That treatment should not be enough to damage the unit, while it's certainly not the way we would handle the machine the foam should protect it and when he drops it on the table that is pink foam.

A worker caught doing stuff like that on one of Apples production lines would have their butt out on the street so fast it wouldn't even be funny.

Even though he drops the laptop, he's still using a rubber matt to stop impact damage, throwing it in the box, well foam will absorb that much impact.

Granted its not ideal but nothing worse than other manufacturers.

    Pffft please.... That's hardly rough.

Ask yourself - Would you honestly place every laptop in the box perfectly if you were doing that over and over and over and.....

    No you wouldn't.

And anyway - Your laptop "suffers" more in the process of delivery than this.

EDIT: This is also only the actions of one individual.

I'd consider believing you weren't trying to stir anything if you didn't put condescending comments like...
...in your initial post. Seriously? That talk is called 'bait'.

    Thread closed.
