    [M15X] New bios breaks touch panel

    I just flashed the new M15X bios and i cant use the touch panel anymore.
    Here's my specs

    Core i7-720QM
    4gb DDR3 ram
    GTX 260m 1GB GDDR3
    Windows 7 X64 Ultimate

    Reformatted, basically. installed most of the drivers found on Dell's site for Win 7 X64. but it wouldnt make sense as the panel wont even work on the CMOS screen.

    Hang on a sec, i realized when i got the laptop, tilting the whole device upside down to see the service code made a strange grinding sound against the fan (buzz). Now it doesnt have that sound anymore. Could it have severed any connections with the touch panel from the VGA fan side?

    well, its working again. seemed that there was something blocking the panel that got wedged in the plastic area. had to remove it with a pin
