I got myself an M17x some months ago to replace my desktop computer. I keep it turned on all the time so at night the alienhead light bothers me and I have to cover it with the mousepad or something and I find it's kind of stupid.

AlexFX doesn't allow me to choose black(off) like I can with the other zones, and I've searched around and all I can find is how to turn it off for other alienware laptops.

So, anyone knows how do I turn off the lid alienhead light?

right click the Alienware head in your taskbar, uncheck "Keep Status Lights On During Go Dark". Now all the lights will turn off when you select "Go Dark" (Function key + F11)
