Quite basic but for my needs I think it should do me good:
Q9000
4gb ram
single 260m -- casual, infact very casual here and I rarely notice between settings for games so because of that I decided to save a bit of money and go with the basic card instead. I'm sure this will last me quite a long time, I don't usually play the latest games, only when they perk my interest. And if required I'll just lower the resolution, I'm not one to keen/spot all the details between normal - high - very high (etc); I read a lot here about single 260 vs dual 260 vs dual 280 and ultimately decided to make it simple and get single 260. This also reduces power consumption and heat at the end of the day I guess even if the m17x has good healing capabilities.
1920x1200; big screen is important
blu-ray reader -- I want to watch some blu-rays!! never had any before but there's some films I'm really wanting to watch on blu ray, i.e. Terminator 2 with all the extras/goodies on the blu-ray edition!!
500gb, I was gonna RAID0 but then read about the weird trouble/issues of getting it unraided and reinstalling. I decided not to Might regret it later but then I suppose it's easy to add another hard drive?
I plan to also get a Antec Notebook Cooler 200 via a special contact for a cheaper price, will it serve this notebook good?

The m17x looks like it draws air from the base and blows it out of the back. The Antec Notebook Cooler 200 also draws air from the base and blows air above it, so I think this is will work well together? I need confirmation in regards to this as I'm a bit of an idiot in science stuff lol
This was brought to replace my more or less dead Dell which I will contact dell to get it fixed/repaired, hoping they'll replace it for something equivalent hehe.
Seems like 3 weeks to get it built + delivered from the Europe Status thread I was reading, but due to "stock issues" it was extended by a lot. I think that problem is gone now?![]()
Will check this thread in 9 hours. Going to bed now lol.
[UK] Ordered m17x - let the wait begin I guess
