I'm not sure if you should order that particular one that is offered at the us website. I did but quickly discovered that it is too long and sticks out of the laptop when inserted. For that reason I always took it out when I was transporting the machine and stored it separately. Even though I was fairly careful with it it still broke after about 3 weeks. I haven't bothered to try and get a replacement. If someone however have a suggestion of a remote that will actually fit entirely into the chassis then I too am interested to hear about it.

I have an extra pocket in my metal case (that transports my m15x) where i stick it when it's not in use... there's also a space in there for the extra Smart Bay device. I only connect the card to the computer when I need it charged. Other than that, I generally just leave it in the case until needed.

it's BT and that's nice, but it IS too big for the xpresscard slot. It sticks out about a quarter inch...

the device is a third party product, made by Interlink electronics. Model # VP6600R...

Shouldn't be too difficult to find in some after-market (or even new) retailer shop... ebay, kajiji (however it's spelt), or craigslist or something.
