Well I'm not going to do a full review because most people have the computer or others have done great reviews already but I thought I would just say that seeing and touching this notebook exceeded my expectations.

I ordered my M17x from Microcenter (it comes with the Windows 7 upgrade for those who were wondering).

However, before I go any further, I've heard from multiple Microcenter buyers that the battery is not recognized by Windows when they pull it out of the box. I've been trying to find information on these forums about it but can't seem to find the answer on how to fix it.

I'll be checking this post through out the night on some fixes. Thanks everyone and I'm damn proud to own one of these. WOW!

    Hi averagejo3,
I haven't seen or heard of any battery issues in the states. Perhaps the images weren't done properly for Microcenter. If you have any issues, I would suggest restoring it.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

Well I remember reading somewhere about someone with a similar issue, and he took the battery out, pressed the power button and fixed it, I can't find the post anymore.
