I'm trying to see if it'll fit in my laptop carrier that has a built-in sleeve. Can someone tell me the real world measurements for the laptop in inches? LxWxH? I never trust the site. It never accounts for things like rubber feet on the laptop and such.

I don't know the dimensions... but most people report 13 inch sleeves are the perfect size for holding the laptop.

Yep, its dimensions are slightly below the average 13" category.

    In the manual it says:
    Dimensions
    Height (Front and Back)
    32.7 mm (1.29 inches)
    Width
    285.7 mm (11.25 inches)
    Depth
    233.3 mm (9.19 inches)
So add a little over a quarter of an inch to all those and you should be able to pick the sleeve you want safely

Just measured it and all you need to do is add 1/16th of an inch to the thickness for the rubber pads under the laptop. I've never such small rubber pads on a laptop...

It's not that I'm picking a sleeve. I have a laptop bag and the sleeve is part of the bag that I already have so I have to make sure it could fit.

    Rhodan- Thanks!

Its roughly the size of a regular magazine, and the thickness is a little bigger than the size of a quarter. So unless you have a compartment meant for a netbook, you should be fine.

My old XPS M1330 (13.3") case holds the M11x perfectly, with no room to spare!

I've got a case that came with my M1530 - It's pretty much the perfect size, it holds the laptop in it's sleeve with room for the charger at the side.

Although it's not padded or anything, it's nice to carry it around easily at the moment until I get a better bag. :D

if you take 2 xbox or pc game cases u will basically have the width of the m11x and its about half and inch or so off from the length of the laptop.

I had that same issue too where 12" cases on the market didn't fit my M11x and 13" barely do. Here's the exact measurements I've just taken for you laptop closed -

    28.5cm (L) x 21.8cm (W right up to the front 'nose') x 2.2cm (H)

The major factor is that becase this is 2.2cm thick it negates most 11.6-12" cases on the market, so ideally you'd be looking at the 13-inch cases minimum.

Hope this helps your decision making and good luck with it.

Always get a case larger than the other one, get a 14 that should deff fit.
