The FSB is 1066 so I just want to be sure that means that the fastest the ram can operate at is 1066mhz meaning throwing money away to get 1333mhz ram. Is this correct? I am buying my laptop right now so I need to know ASAP.

Can we see what you have for spec? Here what I am thinking if you are getting a cpu that can be overclocked go for the 1333 ram. If you are going for non oc cpu stay with the normal Ram.

Core 2 duo p8600 (Replacing with t9900 off Ebay)
Vista Home Premium 64 bit
Single GTX 260m
17" WXGA+ (1440 x 900)
4GB of 1066 or 1333 ram (will 1333mhz even help?)
250GB 7200RPM drive (Replacing with 2x 120GB OCZ Vertex Drives in Raid 0)

Ok Here what I am looking at. CPU that can be over clock so they are clock higher then Normal. That where the 1333mhz ram would help in it would support the overclocking better vs 1066mhz ram.
Other then that I dont think you will see a differnce. -
well i am getting the 3.06ghz t9900 instead of the x9100 cause they are the same speed but t9900 uses 9 less watts so since i am not going to be overclocking thats why i'm getting the t9900 identical speed lower watts and cheaper price. So the 1066 ram is all I need correct?

Use your Money for more Ram and not Ram speed. You will not see much change with the 1333mhz Ram chips.
See Ram space like 2 to 4 gb 32 bit vista OS. Or 4 to 8gb in 64 64 bit Vista. That what helps.
1333Mhz Ram on an m17x will it even help?
