    13r3 order delivery outstanding since 18/7 any reps present?

    Are their any Alienware reps on the forum anymore?
    I ordered a 13 in July and expected a short delivery time due to being a stocked item.
    After multiple emails to uk support for an eta, they told me today that is has already been delivered and had I received it..They sent me a POD with the date "Your parcel was delivered on Wednesday 11th July 2018 at 14:32" I didn't order the laptop until the 16th July!!!

    The said they would call me today at 5 pm to discuss, only no phone call..
    I've never had issues with the support teams before and this will be my 5th Alienware laptop..
    I don't think I trust these guys any more..

    The previous post was written when I was feeling a little annoyed.. in hindsight it was a little bit hard on them. So far I'm still awaiting an update on a delivery eta, although I've been assured that they will contact me as soon as they have one.

    New update, I have been offered a refund so i should be back to normal in 5 to 7 days..
    Its a sad day when i think my Alienware story is over..

    Time to start looking for an alternative I guess.

    ive never had any issues with the sales team, or any issues while purchasing, but i had lots of issues with tech support tho, sad to hear your story, hope you can find a good alternative, wait for sometime, RTX cards are out.. so probably soon laptop brands will release one..

    In the last 4 laptops over the past 10 years, I've not had an issue... delivery and service have been top notch.

    That's why I cannot understand why it has been so bad with this order. Even now after agreeing to take a refund, I've been waiting two and a half weeks from when I was told it has been processed.

    luckily I'm in the position that I could go ahead and purchase something else without waiting for them otherwise I would be stuffed.

    From what I understand the alienware 13 has been discontinued.

    I've no clue although, I do know I'm still waiting for my refund.. I'm sure I will not be getting any interest on top of the money when it does actually get returned to me..

    34 emails and 4 months on Wednesday 17th.. should I start posting the emails on the internet??

    This is not acceptable. Start escalating. Tweet at the boss people. Find e-mails for their upper management and contact them directly. Become a thorn in their side

    Forget emailing them call them directly.
    Same sort of thing happened to me , DELL had a sale and with coupons I thought I got a great deal (almost half off )on a new 13R3.
    Got a delivery date and all that but it never showed up , so I waited and waited so after a week of waiting I contacted them asking what’s going on and all the reps I talked said it was on the way so I waited and waited and 2 more weeks go by with no laptop.
    I called again and asked what’s going on finally I get someone that says it’s stuck at a warehouse and the delay was because the truck it was on was in a accident and couldn’t be delivered on said date and they were going to get it delivered shortly.
    So I waited and waited again and still no laptop so by this point I’m really pissed off and call Dell and there like yeah OK will cancel the order and send you a new one but you’ll only get your refund once we get the first returned to us, so I told them the story about the truck being in a accident and the laptop for some reason or other being stuck at the the warehouse, so they told me to call the FedEx.
    So I called FedEx and they couldn’t find the package .
    I called Dell again and had them contact FedEx and supposedly the package was damaged and they could not deliver it that’s hat caused the delay but they would be happy to send me a new one but at that point I was done and had enough by both parties and just canceled it outright.
    Yes it was FedEx that started the problem and they could have contacted me and told me about the situation but it still left a bad taste in my mouth after the whole ordeal.
    I wish you luck and keep pestering them I did get a full refund after a few weeks.
