Hello, I recently purchased a Alienware 15x laptop and pretty much tricked it out with all the best components, chips, and graphics cards for my gaming needs.(and internet surfing) I assumed it would be BLAZING fast.

However, I have noticed that my wireless connection often "hangs" when I click on an internet link(so I click on a link and nothing happens, which requires me to reclick) and the game loading times are painful. It is much worse than when I use my HP Envy 13 with a Mifi. That's pretty pathetic. And when I am playing Tiger Woods Online, I am often disconnected from the server. It reconnects, but it takes a while and the loading of the holes is a long wait.

I have the Intel WiFi Link 5300 802.11AGN Half Mini Card. I have used many other computers with my home network and the speed has never been a problem.(from the iPad, to laptops from Dell and HP, to my PS3) I did plug in the 15x with an ethernet cable hooked to my router and that improved things quite a bit, so the problem is obviously with the wireless connection.

Does anyone have any advice on how to check this and maybe fix it?

Any help would be appreciated, I'm pretty sad right now because I spent so much on this lap top soley for gaming and it's the one thing I can't do with it because it is so slow.
