    20 - 30 days for repair

    Sent my laptop off for repair last week, screen stopped working for no reason, phoned today to see if it's going to be much longer and get told I probably won't get it back till mid march, is this normal? And is there any way to get it sped up?

    sounds like they have to replace the mobo. as for speeding the process up, contact AW-James or AW-Armando here on NBR and see if they can do anything for you. also, some users have reported that calling AW and complaining about how long the repairs are going can speed things up.

    Perhaps it is time for a petition that has alienware after their service fater
    sale is more than sad and that for a premium brand it is time
    get out of the fingers

    quantity on hand - unit may be back ordered from supplier.
    units in queue prior to yours.
    extent of required repair.

    just a few things to consider when they give you a large window.

    that said, if you do call, be polite and professional, dont just complain to complain...listen to why it may take so long.

    that also said, i am glad AW Armando has offered to help you....take the offer. and great response time there AW Armando....5 mins... :D

    I think I'm one of the minority here. Got my laptop sent out from the facility in less than 4 days after they received it, and they have changed it from Ripley to Skullcap, and also the entire chassis for absolutely no extra cost.

    The only way to speed things up is to be patient with the people. Be patient, and you will be a very happy customer ;)
