    Do not know if i am posting this in the right place if not then please move this thread.

    The problem is yesterday when i checked my cart it listed a dell coupon for 20% off the configuration which was saving me $600

    Discount Details

    20% off when you upgrade to $1099 or more!

    Expires Thursday, September 03, 2009

    i was stupid to not save the code as i hoped it would still be there this morning. But to my surprise it is gone... :confused:

    Has anyone seen this discount and if so did you manage to save the code?

    I don't quite understand this deal, but is it valid for the M17x or even at all?

    didnt think i would get any replies.

    @zfactor: Google turned up nothing

    @ethrem: thnx dude i live in the uk so calling us dell dept and being put on hold is expensive please post if you find anything.

    @Dio: no its was on the the total i configured a unit worth $4770 and with this discount i was saving $954 before shipping and tax i dont know if this means you would get 20% off the stock units seeing as it already surpasses the $1099 mark.

    @azndragon945: if you are right then that would mean an upgrade of $50 (ram speed) would be enough to get this discount.

    Here is hoping someone gets through to the right people over at dell for more info.

    edit: i was playing around with this the day before yesterday with different configurations but did not make a purchase.

    I did not add any coupon number it was automatically added by dell so yes it was compatible with the M17x

    I wanted this thread Deleted because i believed the discount was no longer there because dell had it removed. ( see end of link marketable=false)

    What I don't get is why the coupon just took effect without you applying it and then the next day it just disappears?
