    Starting Price $1,874?
    Sale Price $1.599?

I haven't been on here for awhile, but did i miss something?

When I bought mine, I think it started at $1,599.

Where did you see that the chipset doesn't support the TRIM command? If you mean RAID, I don't know of any RAID controllers that support TRIM... that being said, the Samsung GC is working in RAID just fine.

I haven't seen any tests with Samsung's GC collection working with RAID. Do you know of any reviews of this?

I read it towards the end of this thread.
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=408300
Personally, I am not concerned with RAID because I do not run it. As previously stated, but for some reason removed from this thread... I have not verified that it is true. I also stated that I was not too concerned about this because windows 7 and the ssd trim functionality is emerging technology, and I’m sure there is a good chance that it will be supported in subsequent driver revisions... but it's kind of hard to see that because my comments were removed. I don't get it. I was not inflammatory. I didn't present any false information. I wasn't off topic. Why are my posts gone from this thread? I did not violate any forum rules. Anybody care to give me an explanation?
If you feel the need to remove these comments too, please at least email me an explanation. I believe you have my address on file.

This thread was created by the OP to post info on Dell/AW's Sale. Posting yet another 'caution' against buying an AW is not necessary. You posted similar comments in other threads. Please do not cross post. If you want to discuss TRIM support, then post in the thread you linked to in response to the post you read or post in the relevant SSD thread. Thanks.

I believe that the sale price of the m15x comes with the gtx 260, 500gb drive and the 6 gigs of RAM.

I haven't seen much in the way of reviews. Everything is changing a little fast right now.
The cleanup doesn't happen right away, it waits for idle time which is both good and bad. Good because you don't have to take a hit on performance when working, but bad because if you power off your laptop immediatly after working, the drive may not get around to cleaning up itself until you let it sit for a while.
