    Hi, I am in dire need of a laptop, I was going to purchase the max17 but I see that the earliest it can be shipped is 10/29/2009, I recall a while back alienware offered 24 hour builds, they don't do that anymore?

    Nope. I was looking at getting my wife a m15x (glad I didn't based on some of the benchmarking results that are appearing ont he web) but they couldn't get it in before her birthday and my offer of a "premium" didn't help at all.

    sams club has had the m17x up for... as long as I can remember.

    consequently though bestbuy removed the m17x from their website like a month ago
