    Hi guys I was over on slickdeals.net and saw this thread on getting alienwares 25% off.

    I'm wondering if you can skip the employer part and say you're a student, cuz IIRC, student discount = EPP discount = military discount (they're all the same department I think).

    Yeah but the different programs have different discounts. It's worth calling to find out, though, but it's good to make sure it's for the right AW and not specific to a certain model or config. A dell rep might be willing to match it for the sale too.

    From what I've seen the different programs don't have different discounts, atleast EPP and student don't.
