    Hi all,

I just installed a GTX260m into the secondary slot for my M17x (it was a single-card system; I got the extra card/fan from Dell), and all went well installing the card physically. I boot up, no problems, everything's fine there too. I reinstalled my drivers (186.64, since I'm on Windows 7), played a game, and noticed (I had GPU-Z open) that the 2nd card was staying at 275 MHz core clock and not doing much of anything while the 1st card was at full load. I tried this in STALKER: Clear Sky and Arma II. THEN, when I go back to my desktop, both upclock to 550 MHz

Just tried it in Borderlands, though, and all seemed to work there (plus both were already at their full clocks, so...). Any ideas?

Did you get an SLI cable to link the two cards?

Sounds like SLI isn't working with some of the games. The SLI Guide might help you to check if that's the case and how to enable it for specific games and whatnot.

Yes, I have a cable. And thanks for the guide, I'll check it out and see if it helps. :)
